Fly-Fishing Paradise

We are lucky to have a couple of our most popular fly-fishing rivers right in our backyards, literally steps from the patio, and one of the draws of having a riverfront property is the ability to fish whenever you'd like. Of course there is the outdoor living, more opportunities for viewing wildlife, and the sounds of the rushing river, but if you fish (or strive to) these properties on the river are for you.

The Big Wood River

The Big Wood River gets its name from the many cottonwood trees that line its banks and have fallen into the river. The downed trees make excellent cover for the wary trout. The Big Wood’s native trout are “red-banded” rainbows, but brook trout, cutthroat trout and brown trout also swim the river.
If you are looking for a home with fishing out your back door on the Big Wood River, here are a few beauties... click on the captions for more details!

Silver Creek

Silver Creek is crystal-clear, with flat - sometimes shallow - water. Throughout the season, this stream is known as the best dry fly water in the West. The Cloud River strain of rainbow trout are the featured attraction here, but the whitefish are native.

Currently we have one property that boasts 3.5 miles of privacy on Silver Creek!
